GOLD RUSH FOR TYRIQUE VINCENT

Tyrique Vincent accomplished his mission at the end of Day 2 in the 53rd Carifta Games defending his title. He secured the gold medal once again in the Boys U20 Decathlon. Tyrique not only claimed victory but also shattered his own Carifta record, finishing with an impressive total 6,824 points.

Tenique Vincent ended Day 1 of the Heptathlon Girls U20 in a strong gold medal position. We wish her all the best as she prepares for another day of competition ahead. Keep up the great work, Tenique!

Tenique Vincent soared to new heights as she set a remarkable New Carifta Record in the girls hept high jump on a first day of competition. With an impressive clearance of 1.71 metres, she surpassed her previous record of 1.69 metres, showcasing her incredible talent.

CONGRATS TO OUR CARIFTA ATHLETES

The first day of the Carifta Games 2026 has been nothing short of spectacular! Our athletes showcased remarkable performances, with Soleil Caruth in the girls u17 400m with her brave effort in her debut performance, Julien Chin Lee making a strong debut as finalist in the boys U17 400m. Darius Harding an inspiring sprint in the final 50m of the boys U20 1500m,claiming a silver medal in a thrilling finish. Additionally, Tyrique Vincent is leading the decathlon after an impressive 10.86 run in the 100m and commanding performance in the 400m, winning his heat with a of 51 seconds.
